Abstract:By using statistical analysis methods such as empirical frequency distribution and trend analysis, the temporal distribution characteristics of cloud deck events from 2005 to 2015 are analyzed, and suitable meteorological conditions like temperature, humidity and wind are studied. The empirical frequency distribution and box plot of meteorological elements were analyzed by statistical method. The five eigenvalues were used to characterize the suitable meteorological conditions of Lushan cloud deck events. The results show that:(1) The average number of cloud deck event is 133.73 d per year, the most year is 2005 for 172 d, and least year is 2012 for 106 d. The number of cloud deck event is decreasing. (2) The suitable meteorological conditions for cloud deck event are daily mean temperature is between 8.7 and 21.0 degree, daily mean humidity is higher than 82%, daily 2 m wind speed is between 1.9 and 4.8 m·s-1. Compared with nocloud deck days, the temperature factor is higher, the relative humidity condition is better, and the wind speed frequency distribution is familiar. (3) There are 500 times accounting for 27.2% of temperature inversions from 2005 to 2015, the average height of the bottom of temperature inversion is 793.1 m, the thickness of temperature inversion is 1 054.4 m, the intensity of temperature is 0.25℃·(100 m)-1. In cloud deck event the percentage of inversion bottom height from 300 to 2 000 m and inversion intensity higher than 0.4℃·(100 m)-1 is larger than the no cloud deck days. Which indicates that the inversion bottom is higher, the inversion layer is thicker and the inversion intensity is stronger in cloud deck event.
